Return to Castle Wolfenstein is growing somewhat old now. Supposedly there is
a second version being worked on. However, it's being developed by the same company that could not complete their
single player part of the Enemy Territory release. RtCW was released during the Autumn of 2001 and was an instant
success. The single player part was not the real story as far as the gaming community was concerned. The online
portion is where the game excelled and is what got most of us hooked on online gaming. More information will be
posted here as it is released. Other games will come to occupy this area in the future. We are currently looking
for an updated online multiplayer game that can incorporate the team work required by Wolf. One of the more
significant things about Wolf was the success of the Punkbuster anticheat program. Many of the first online games
were ruined for online play by cheaters. Punkbuster is a great deterrent and has obviously extended the life of
many online games.
