lol, well heres my final tally on the run. My fate was sealed by glider and not the dryders. as I closed in on there shrine after killing dryder after fryder,glider asked if she could leave the party which of course I said,"sure" but as my sleepy head forgot, I told bubba I was done 15 minutes earlier and I resigned at that point. but I kept going and getting more ecto. as glider resigned my run came to a end,lol

when your having fun you dont watch the clock . but we were fast. We cleaned out the chamber, icy wastes,chaos plains and I almost cleared the spawning pools. we actually did this twice though on the first run we quit early because Bubbas build was bad for chaos plains and he kept dying. what was funny about the first run,actually it wasnt fub at first, we cleared out the chamber, all of the icy wastes and the first part of the chaos plains without a ecto drop. something was messed up there. after bubba left the party to get a better build thrown together,Glider and I decided to stay there and clear as much as we could util he was ready. We we did 2 more groups of the 3,6,12 mindblades and we got 4 ecto in that short little bit. so the 1st run had some benefit, But the next run was ecto dropping fun the whole way through. the final tally was 21 ecto and 1 saphire

not counting the time lost for someone dyin and the others having to break aggroe so they could rez me, and not allowing for the time it took to get the synergy down, id say if we went in right now we could clear everything we cleared last night in less than 2 hours easily

Oh.. one thing I have read from long time players is that.. there are times when farming is hot and when it's not. One player would go so far as to switch to an International district and play there for a while when nothing would be dropping. He would alternate between US and International and did much better ratio wise than when he toughed it out during the farming dry spells on just one side or the other. The difference is that he felt that the good streaks come for a few minutes in peaks in each hour. So he would try to catch an instance of the UW or any farming run during these periods to ensure his run was profitiable. Now.. is this still true today? It would make sense that they would do that on a "rolling" basis, so that people would not get money/good drops all the time.. and people can suck up the dry spells as long as they have a Pavlov's Dog's effect when playing and getting good drops every so many runs. The other thing is that he'd determined that Tuesday's is when most servers have some of the lowest player counts and some other days during the middle of the week so from his numbers.. drop rates were higher. Weekend drop rates were less.. and this would also make sense if you think about it. That is how they would keep money from being being affected by deflation.. give out less valueable stuff during peak server play times and at little more during the slow times. You want to psycologically keep people hooked on playing.. so you pull stuff like this on them to keep them playing. Think of how many times they have monkeyed with the economy to make it "fair" and prevent abuse etc.

all i do know is that during our first "dry" run on ecto, where i kept dying and we were getting things figured out, we did get alot of gold drops as opposed to ecto, so not sure how the loot system actually is...
