Three weeks ago they finally let the cat out of the bag just like those flat-penises did with Wolf 2. No dedicated servers for MW2! Few customizable options for PC gamers.. AND to top it off.. you cannot ban cheaters from the server. Oh.. that last one takes the cake.

I'm going to GameStop tomorrow and getting my money back for BOTH of the PC editions I have pre-ordered for Tuesday. I will still get the PS3 edition though as it makes no difference.

Bubba, I'll send you some money to cover for the book you you're supposed to order for my son.

Thats really lame, hadnt planned on buying it right away but figured maybe down the road when i have some extra cash i'd maybe buy it. Man we just cant win. I dont blame you for not getting it Ein. At the same time i dont know how you can play it on console. There's got to be some secret to shooting accurately with the joystick on console but i'll be damned if i can do it lol. It'd be interesting to see how many people preordered the pc version and see how many of those still went and bought the game after hearing this news. There still gonna make a mint off the game either way, but keeping this out of the news up until near the release is pretty shady. On a good note Ein, at least you found out about it before you put down the cash to buy it. I'm assuming you didnt have to pony up the full amount to preorder it. Still a big bummer though.

He asked me why for the PC edition.. I told him no persistent servers, 18 limit on players.. etc. Then he didn't seem surprised but that was it.

I'm sure the single player will be great. Game looks really great.. but I'm only intersted in the multiplayer part. I have yet to play the SP of COD4.

well im doubting sp will be greaty. Im just seeing if it will run good on my Pc. If it does, Then MP will too. Though im not a huge fan of COD if it plays good on my Pc I may get it. Even after that post you made on why not to get it, all ive read about is about people dying to get the game. Some already playing it and loving it. SO im not convinced all the hubbub you wrote about may be completely accurate. But we will fins out shortly because people will be playing MP big time this weekend. So It will be interesting to read the forums on how everyone loves it or hates it.

I just emailed Zog and still cannot get over the 18 man limit.. and the non persistent server. Until someone comes out with a hack or something.. I will keep biting my nails to keep from getting the game. On the bright side I still have the PS3 edition that I can break down to play and keep the stuff. The prices are not as high as I want them to be to sell the kit. ATM, they are still about $250 on Amazon.. and $190 on eBay.. that's not ENOUGH of a pay off for me. I'll wait until the bulk of the first sellers are done in November.. then consider listing my kit around the first week of Christmas. I have the SOAP mini figure of the main character guy and all the extras to go with it. To be honest, the console guys are in really.. REALLY good luck. They've really improved the game from 12 players to 18 for the console. I'll still play Wolf 2.. I guess you don't realize how lucky you've got it until you see no persistent servers for the PC edtion of MW2.. as compared to a server we can play at in Wolf 2. I guess it's all about perspective.

Anyway, instead of 3 PC copies in our home we just got one. I had to play SP and I hate playing on console.

So we(PC gamers) got screwed by CoD and Wolf...life sux.

Lord, SP was great but tooooooooo f'in short. Hardcore lasted less than 5 hours for me.
Again the plot and game play was good but too short. Also they got rid of "q" and "e" leaning. "q" is your flash bangs and "e" is melee. WTF.
