Well, I copied it over from my old box.. didn't set any of the parameters you suggested for Vista yet. It fired right up.. I could follow 'X' and Huggy Bizzle around for a bit. You know he's playing like shit.
He's not pulling any of the sniper rifle crap he used to be able to pull on his server.. but in fairness I'm not really bashing him given that the ECG server plays differently. I don't see them running stupidly around the walls either. This one guy I was following.. 'X' something.. his cross hairs NEVER got above a certain point on the screen. I guess he's got it locked off some how for headshot level. I suspect if I play my target will be all over the screen. I don't know how this mouse will work with extra buttons on it. Anyway, I haven't actually 'played' but it did load and I didn't get kicked 'yet'. I suspect I'll probably get kicked for not updating PB when I actually select play. Also, I kinda just sat there for about 5 minutes to try and figure out how my stuff used to map on the keyboard. Couldn't remember shit. I did remember that pressing 'i' brings up my text menu for everything but I couldn't remember that I just had to press 'i' but not with the console down.
I dread this. It was somewhat exciting to see the screen again.. but having not seen it in months it's showing it's age. So.. are we going to try to use the demo vent server.. and try to play on ECG?
