Well, what do you think about the new forums?

Well, it's almost totally different. I searched through about a hundred templates.. and didn't like but maybe 4. Nothing was like our previous one.. but I thought change is good. I have modified the basic stock forum template and of course the PHP code behind how this site works. There are some security holes I plugged.. some graphics changed.. and some minor forum enhancements.

The directory might have gotten locked when I was using some of the auto admin stuff from the host. If that's locked the directory for uploads.. I'll try to get that fixed. Worst case, I can give you my gmail account and you can email them to me. I'll put you avatars in the pool for you... but let me check on the directory first.

Hong.. Yes.. I think themes are nice.. but some *more* Wolfy stuff wouldn't hurt. I'll replace some of the graphics with whatever I can generate. I've been focusing mostly on the website (when I work on anything). It's funny you mention the dragons.. the only thing here not a dragon was a Chinese girl that was the WHOISONLINE animation. However, that had to go first thing. I replaced it with the Reaper as you see now hand drawn. Right now I'm thinking to replace the two dragons at the top with the Red Wolf symbol or something.. so that'll be a start. Then I might create some custom POST REPLY, etc etc. images later. The first two will be the semi-grey ones at the top. I like those the least and considered replacing them along with the girl early on.

Also when I've got a chance to poke through the Emoticons code I'll try to disable the auto-close on select. Although some of them will have to go. I just wanted to let everyone get a feel for what we had and we can vote on who goes. The UT ones.. I tracked down so it's not likely they'll get the axe so to speak.

I trust some of you can see the Adult/Clan forums? Headshot, Zog & Ranger will get updated I hope tomorrow after work.

Nice job! Easier to read. I never did understand why the 'default' font size for 'quote' is a smaller size. Ought to change that if it's possible. :wink:

Ok.. thanks everyone for the updates and general likes of the site. I did look and look for something suitable. The blue kinda goes along with our names.. so does the website I'm working on.

Headshot, I'll have to find the code in the PHP to adjust the quote size but I'll add that to my to-do list. Of course.. I'll be backing up beforehand. When I modify the code I'll make a post so that if you experience problems please let me know in the post with whatever I was trying to fix.
