I've actually gotta work this weekend installing server crap. With any luck I should be home to play some games Friday but I cannot stay up as late Friday due to having to come in Saturday morning. Not sure how that's gonna work out exactly...

Anyway, plan to game some! Who's with me?

I should be able to join you to a limited degree. I have the kids this weekend and for once, They have no plans. So were all going to be hanging out and spending quality family time together. But I should be able to slip away fore awhile. Just post the time frame you plan to try and play EIn, and I'll see what I can do.

ok, Just post here in the forums if your going to go on and play. For now, I just keep hanging out with the kids. I'll check the forums every 15-20 minutes. Were playing Bejing olypmics on the xbox 360. ANd that game is a blast.

I popped on vent around 10:20 EIn and saw you were on there. I looked on the server for you and you were not on.. Now I wont make it on because I started a new game that is totally awesome and I cant break away from it now. That game being Spore. FUn as hell.

I never heard anyone show up on Vent.. it had the screen saver up but I think it should have said you were on. I suppose I was downstairs or something. So you'll not be playing COD4 again? Is that what I understand you to be saying about the Spore game?

well the game is pretty adicting right now. ANd though Im starting to enjoy COD4.The fact that noone else plays it besides you and me kind of kills it a little bit. Not that I dont enjoy playing with you. A game is just funner when more people are involved. I know Zog still plays it but he dont count because he starts playing it when im about ready to quit.

I thought the concept of spore was pretty cool back when I first read about it a year ago. BUt I really thought that it was a game I probably wouldnt enjoy. Brianna asked about getting that game so I got it. ANt it just kicks ass. The kids and I played it the entire weekend.Ive now entered the civilization part of it. Where im building/designing my city, Tanks, vehicles, you name it. They did a really great job on the game. But is it going to have the ability to keep me interested for months to come? I dont know the answer to that one yet. Only time will tell.

But I dont have any kids this weekend and I do enjoy playing Spore more when there around. So if you dont get stuck working late again this weekend, I'll join you for some COD4 action.

We had to put in a $30k server and corporate was involved. It was kinda busy that day that I also installed a router a few hours before they arrived. Yep, I'd be up for gaming this Friday. Got some grad work to do but I'll get as much as I can do.. done beforehand. See you around 9:30 (we don't have anything to be installed this weeeknd). Bubba's not going to play for shit because his wife won't let him. I'm sure that's the real reason he's not been on.
