another book ,another 20,000 rep points

Turned in another heroes handbook for 20k rep points. These missions are beginning to get easy as pie.The most hated mission in EOTN for me was Destruction Depths against all the Destoyers. But the kids and I whooped the crap out of that mission in 29 minutes. All I have left to do is fill 1 more book up and I will be a level 8 ebon Vanguard. Then all I have left is to get my norn rank from a 5 to a 7 and I will be ready for the underworld speed clear.

Well I set a new record tonight. I played Gw from 4:30 -9:00 tonight and filled up a whole new book. ANd thats only using a 6 person crew. I didnt have the kids tonight so I let Dq's SIn be part of my party so I could fill up her book..Thats like 5000 points per hour. Thats sure beats the grinding runs. Next book im going to bring gliders and DQ's characters along and see if I can do it with a 5 man crew.


We will see about this weekend. The underworld mission doing the quests with just a normal fighting crew is a long rigorous task. When the kids and I cleared 7 of the 10 quests we were over 4 hours into it. I dont think if I have that much committment time. ANd then, 1 person must absolutly go perma sin. Because during the 4 horsement quest they attack from 2 differnt directions. The only way to beat that quest is to split your group up in 2 parties which would be a masacre. The 2nd is to have 1 perma sin take on the one side while the rest of the team takes on the other side. Reguardless the perma sin is basicly useless for the entire underworld cept for that one missions. SO I sure dont want to play the Sin.Tell your Mezmer friend to make a assasin and get her titles. Then we can do the underworld. If the mezmer wants we can try the fissure of Woe. But without DQ and Glider its gonna be a rough ride. DQ's and my dual nuking/ursan builds and gliders dual spiteful spirt make the FOW easy as pie. Without it, It could be tough.
But if shes interested make sure she knows, I require the 3 necros and 1 healing monk heroes without excetions.Thats the synergy that works for us.

Probably she'll be in for that if we can do it. I know she's really interested in the UW.. all she ever does is AB. Apparently she's *very* good at it. She's filthy rich with the zkeys too from the battle wins. I've never asked if she makes the key chest runs or not.

Anyway, I'll ask her tomorrow. I'll also try to be on somewhat earlier... no guarantees but she might not get on until later. However, that means I can go with you on some of the runs to help out on the men etc. I can start a new book with you.. and then that would mean that I could complete one set.. and still finish up on my other one.

Yeah Glidet and I haVE BEEN DOING ARENA battles on the zaishen elite isle earning 6000 balth. faction a day, which is basicly one key a day. Theres a hero synergy build that can beat most of the enemy groups you gace. Were gonna earn that tonic damn it.lol

Well, I'm a whopping level 1 in Vanguard. I figure that since it's the hardest one to level.. I'll dump my book into that. The Norn one is probably the 2nd hardest.. but the Asuran I'll farm rapors even though they've been nerfed. Also I think the dwarven one has that one area you mentioned and another dungeon that's easy to get skills up on.

At the moment, I'm just amazed that I've gotten to almost the end of EOTN with my assassin.

yes, all books turned in should go into vanguard. norn farming isnt so bad. if you have the proper quests active you can get 4500 points for vanguishing varajell falls in normal mode.Ive vanguished that area in hard mode for the same amount of points. i didnt have the right quests.it took me a hour and a half.in normal mode it would be quite faster.though i prefer the books because at this point its the fastest way to get points, i myself hate playint the assasin with assasin skills.though i do some time and also carry ursan.glider carries all necro skills on her sin and dq all elen skills on her sin
so when did this nerf happen , over saint pattys day weekend, i got more golds than i knew what do with.made over 150,000 gold on that weekend not includining the 3 stacks of clovers i got

Nah.. this nerf happened about a month or so ago according to *many* people in Rata Sum. Even occasionally you'll see people yell out about the drops.. so I guess the leechers might have started to help allieviate some of the item drop loss.

Anyway, I think what really happens is that on special event weekends they (with item drops like eggs etc.) ANET might untightened some of the code in place to prevent those types of drops. I don't know for sure.. however, I have gotten more drops also when farming feathers.. *almost* like before whatever happened to reduce the farming runs. I still get plenty of feathers though.. luckily those are worth 9K+ per stack. It's not as profitable as Raptor farming at this point.. but before I got about 8k per run that took about 16-22 minutes. I often got minor/major vigors as well as many minor runes that were worth money at the merchant. Oh well.. it's not likely there are many things that make mega money except selling the tonics and of course it would seem the speed clears.
