And again you come full circle.. have you been living on one of Saturn's moons? :D

Good to see you Mr. Eric.. a.k.a. Mr. GreenSkull

How goes it? I trust the accounting business has been treating you well.. at least the job market anyway.

The RTCW 2 game .. was released and Activision or EA.. whoever.. fired all of the programmers on the first day of release. The online multiplayer part was.. total crap. Well.. that's not fair.. the game had the heart.. the feel of RtCW.. but it was buggy as all hell with damn near no blocking support for cheaters. We played almost until they got down to just a handful of servers and that was it. We enjoyed the new game while it lasted.. still had a favorite map (not Beach) but it was a doc running map.

We are now play Guild Wars 2 as a small group. I just got back from living in a cabin on the side of the foothills/low mountains this week. Great to get away from work. Intentionally picked a location where no cell phone access worked and no Internet. 8)

Now I'm all relaxed.. sorta. Did you ever pick up GW2 by chance? What have you been playing? Any new systems?

I'm not likely to be able to get a Wii U this year.. that's too bad. I will try to get the NEOGEO portable though. We'll see.

Hi!

I knew about RTCW 2 I was just messing! I don't play video games anymore as I just have my netbook which ain't much of a gaming machine! Although I did have a small month long addiction with Halo reach at the last house I lived in. Accounting? Eesh... I haven't done that type of work in a long time. I have not really focused on one industry in a few years. I somehow ended up in Portland with all the hipsters via Colorado and I am actually moving back home to California in the next couple of weeks. I am hoping to do some camping along the way and make it a good trip. Portland is great but a bit too cold and hipsterish for me. If the wages were a wee bit better then I might be enticed to stay.

Where do you live again, Ein? I am sure you told me many years ago. I just can't seem to remember.

Yes.. my profile is very deceptive - Location: Memphis, TN

Ha ha ha.. ;)

Memphis has high unemployment. I've stayed in the same IT job for more than a decade.. which for 1 is unusual for IT.. and two.. to be in the same area.. might be kinda odd too. I have gone from loving where I work to at times absolutely hating it. Hopefully the economy will turn around and I'll be able to jump ship but I'm not jumping into the frying pan. With the economy as it is, employers take advantage of that fact quite heavily. I don't have no where near the time to play games as I once did with 2 kids but I try to manage. Well, I did up until the last 2 weeks.. I'm sure Slayer and the rest think/know I'm slacking...

Camping.. well, just don't end up dead. More weirdo's by the day travelling the roads and stopping by those places. I lke camping quite a bit.. yet my wife isn't much of a camper. We stayed at a cabin on the side of some foothills near Chattanooga, TN just over a week ago. Great place.. no way would I wanna get stuck up there in the winter though. I was thinking.. from the first day, "Yeah, I could hold out here if a zombie apocolypse happens.." Then two days later I realized 1/2 a mile from the cabins is a sizeable family graveyard you cannot see from the trees. So.. scratch that.

You make sure you vote.. I don't really care who you vote for.. just vote with conviction. It'll really be interesting to see if Obama wins or Romey wins. I don't like either candidate and no matter who wins.. we're not getting out of this debt problem any time soon. If you could believe what either of the two talked about.. I just hope that we continue to get away from foreign energy. Well.. that's it for politics from me.

Again, don't you be a stranger. I'll keep the site up and running. We're thinking about making a new set of forums but I'll email you if we do. Really good to hear from you. :)

The Redwoods are nice if you ever take a nice little family trip out to the West Coast. I lived in Cali 20+ odd years and never checked them out before. Oops. One week in California and it's been beach weather. How sweet it is. And I voted Libertarian. :finga:

I hear that 1 million Libertarian (sp?) votes were cast in Flordia. Also.. with the Republicans 'soul searching' by blaming different people and different things.. it was rumored that Paul Ryan might be replacing the Majority Whip in Congress. We'll see..

I tried to grow a red wood tree in my front yard as they supposedly grow in my area.. got it up to about 4 feet before it died in unusual weather. I might try to get another one growing to see how big I can get it. Most people don't realize that as big as the red woods are out in Cali.. the east coast had trees hundreds of years old up until the 1860's that were 2/3rds as big as the largest red woods. The massive locust trees were killed off by a european blight that was so bad it I think is what started one of the government agencies (like Agriculture) to inspect and stop foreign pests and diseases from getting to the states.
