Long time no see. So who all is still around and what do you guys play? i quit WoW and play Rift as well as CoD 4 still. Hope to catch you guys around.

Humm... Slayer, Zog, Glider, Bubba, Guinness, GeForce, SlipperyNipple, GreenSkull. There are several lurkers but they don't post. It's a good thing you didn't need to create a new account because I disabled registering on the site a few weeks ago. I need to update the forums to prevent spammers so that was the better alternative until then.

Good to see 'ya Cy! We played COD4 for the longest time and were going to jump on Modern Warfare 2 like no tomorrow until they screwed the PC players. With the Wolfenstein 2 screwing we'd gotten that summer, that was the last straw. I cancelled all the PC copies I'd ordered and scrapped the Ru server idea. Now, not too sure about this fall but I'm looking to do the same thing with Battlefield 3 for the PC. I *really* loved BF2 bad company, so much so that I quit playing it because that's all I was doing (just like when I got Wolf 10 years ago). I hear that many people like the new Rift.. but we're still holding out for GW2 this fall (I suspect it will be released now around November.. but we'll see).

I've really been picking up tons of retro games and systems that I'd either missed or shouldn't have let slip through my fingers when I switched around the N64 days to PC mostly. My computer room now looks like something you'd see on the Discovery Channel with hoarders and such. Almost embarassed to post a pic of it.

Good to see you Ein. i can get some shots of Rift but it really wouldn't do it justice the graphics are very very nice and my video card lacks in that area. They basically took the char customization of GW and the skill tree design of WoW and made it way better it has all the things i liked from both games including things like customizing your UI and Dye for your armor. You can also "augment" crafted recipes with a small stat boost. I really miss playing with you guys do you ever get on vent? if so give me the addy and i'll come in and chat with you a bit. I still have my own server from my wow playing days but I got way too hardcore into it i was GM of a top 50 raiding guild. On a brighter note I'm getting married may 23rd and any of the Ru brothers that will be in michigan and want to come are most welcome i'm sure i still owe some of you a knifing or a backshoot from the wolf days. As for the retro games i don't blame you a bit since I got moved into a bigger place i've been collecting and now I have game systems most people have never heard of and tons of games my fiance is cool with the addiction though. I did also recently buy a pachinko machine from a pawn shop. I'll post a pic of that so you guys can check it out. I don't see a couple names from the wolf days in your list there whatever happened to Headshot, Dago, and Proctologist? if you wanna play some CoD4 some night let me know I'd be down i have a 1.7 copy and 1.6 copy downloaded on 2 diffrent machines. Hope to catch you guys on vent sometime.

Headshot was around and then just kinda up and quit posting. Dago left our ranks a very long time ago. It was joked that he joined to see if we were a bunch of hackers.. but left a friend all the same. Proc had to quit playing and is probably in rehab for video game addiction. Guinness got married year before last to a very beautiful lady.. and that foo is damn lucky too!

Hummm.. yeah, I should clean up my stuff to make it look "presentable" before posting a pic. However, I give you my word.. you post one of your collection.. and I'll post one of mine. Victim/Kane might actually post a pic of his if we get it started in a thread. He also had a massive collection but that jokers rich too.

Zog should be posting any day.. when the weather is uber he's out riding or playing his bass.

CONGRATULATIONS CY on your marriage! This isn't the same gf that played WOW with you from before is it? Better get a pre-nup to protect those games. j/k! err.. no not really.

So.. whatcha got system wise? I don't have a NEO GEO CD system and I don't have an Atari Jaguar... at least that's for starters.

If you ever wanna fine headshot cy just jump in wolf on a random weeday morning lol, i still play with him on occasion. Ive heard some good things about Rift, luckily i was able to quit my WoW addiction cold turkey thanks in part to a framing hammer and my wife snapping one night, my computer was an innocent bystander sigh lol. So gonna get married eh? Gratz! or my condolenses, depending on the circumstances but if yours doesnt mind the gaming then shes definitly a keeper We have been using the freeloader vent info thats posted in the forums round here somewhere, but i honestly couldnt tell you the last time we were on it lol, bout the only talking weve all done together recently is over our xbox 360's. more later gotta get some gaming in before bed

Heres a list of some of the stuff i've got now as soon as i get my game room set up I'll throw a few pics.
Nes with little over 200 games, SNEs, N64, Gameboy, GBA, Virtual Boy, DS, Sega Genesis with cd and 32x attach, Sega Saturn, Sega Dreamcast, Panasonic 3do, JVC X'eye, Turbo Grafx 16, atari lynx and of course the coleco vision with atari 2600 expansion cart, and atari 5200. i also still need a jaguar and neo geo but I may pick up the jaguar soon. Like i said I have my own vent server its 40 man and my guild uses it for rift but you guys are more than welcome to use it if you want or just stop by and say hi if you want the info I'll post it in the clan section. i still wear my tags when I play CoD so at least we are still representing I'm still very thankful that Lordy taught me how to dodge bullets people still think I cheat because of it. I've been booted off quite a few servers because people whine that I hack. I was gonna upload a pic of my pc setup and my pachinko machine but they are too large apparently. To answer your question yep this is the same girl I've been with she plays Rift now too and was interested in CoD4 a little. Shes very understanding of my game addiction and doesn't yell too much when I bring home more vintage stuff because she likes a lot of it too.

Well well.. the Virtual Boy is something I've looked at.. the main game I'd like to get for it I think is the shooter game called Raiden and the 3d Galatic pinball. The Jaguar is something I actually detested when it was released some time ago.. not so sure about it now. I know the CD attachment is shit and most have failed.. so if I were to get the console it would probably be without the CD.. not sure. I really should clean up first before posting.. hell, they'd send the Discovery channel folks to my room just to see the 'hoarding' going on I'm sure. It's better.. just needs better organization. I finally removed much of the box build up from ordering some stuff a while back. I need to sell of some duplicates to continue to fuel my .. happy problem.

You got me beat by probably 100 games on the NES. I have over 100 but I think less than 150.. probably around 130ish. Now if you have the styrofoam, dust cover, box and manual of all the games with perfect labels.. then you are a pure collector. For the NES, certain games I get for various reasons. Most are without book, box but until just recently I ran out of dust covers. I have tried to collect all the games I wanted to play when I was a kid but couldn't afford them. All the ones I rented, borrowed etc. I picked up a few of the rarer ones becuase a store was going out of business in February (Attack of the killer tomatoes and Fire & Ice). Probably the system that I love to collect the most for is the turbografx/PC Engine. I don't like loose Genesis/Mega Drive carts, so I try to pick them up with book/box/excellent game label. I tend to shy away from buying most of the new games for new systems because the price drops on the games to about 1/2 and then I get them. Unless they come with a rare collector item or something from a pre-order.. that's about the only time I get 'em. If I post a pic Slayer will make fun of me.

Pachinko.. sweet. I love the steel balls that shoot out and then you get to play the lucky game if you hit the jackpot. I have "Hello Santa" downstairs in the living room that came off of a Japanese cruise ship. It's really loud when you start making the money on it. It's hilliarious when Frosty comes out with a sub machine gun to shoot at you and the reindeer can be shot when you get 3 bells or 3 cheeries. Santa has a machine gun too and he's the ultimate boss in the LCD game screen to take down for the big prize.

Glad you wear the tags.. we all do when playing FPS. Zog still plays COD.. and I wouldn't mind us organizing some weekend night to play again. At least before this fall line up of games comes out.
