Well well.. hello Mr. Ranger! Good to see 'ya. The Wolf MP sucks balls but we're playing it. It does have potential if they release the SDK for modders.. but it's not looking good considering they fired the MP Devs for Wolf the day the game was released.

there are already a decent modd or two out there, so it shouldnt be too long, the one i was checking out last night had upped the damage on.well hell let me post it lol.Just have to find a server running it.Please note if u use this, you would ahve to change it back to play on an un modded server.

I made some more changes to my mod. I haven't done a huge amount of testing so let me know how everything feels.

Changes:

Shrapmod Version 0.3
*Tweaked footstep sounds, they now play about half as often as before also reduced volume slightly
*Added invuln glowing feet effect(needs work) This is temporary till I find a better effect/icon
*Added ET revive feedback sound
*Tweaked sprinting/running animations (needs work but isn't as jerky when sprinting)
*Replaced mp40 sound with rtcw one
*Changed Invulnerability time to 4 seconds down from 5
*Made mp40 and luger slightly more accurate
*Reduced Medic ammo: mp40 64->32 rifle 25->10
*Reduced Eng+Soldier ammo: mp40 96->64 rifle 25->20
*Reduced move speed slightly 30% -> 25%
*Reduced sprint speed by about 10%
*Removed mp40 recoil/kick
*Removed mp40 + mp43 knockback push and kick (This was bugged and caused many bullets to not register)
*Removed Red Enemy Arrows
*Added ET hitsounds
*Increased panzer damage slightly
*Removed bullet tracers
*Made panzer charge sound non local

Instalation:

Method 1:

1) Create a shrapmod_0.3 folder in your wolf directory and place the shrapmod_0.3.pk4 file there.

2) Create a shortcut to Wolf2MP.exe

3) Add +set fs_game shrapmod_0.3 to the Target line of the shorcut so it looks like this: C:\{GAME PATH}\Wolf2MP.exe +set fs_game shrapmod_0.3



Method 2:

Just put the shrapmod_0.3.pk4 file in the base directory located by defualt at C:\Program Files\Activision\Wolfenstein\base

Note: you will need to delete the file or rename it from pk4 to something else to play on normal servers again

well im not hopping to any new mod yet. Im enjoying the game as is right now. I thought this game handled the panzer perfectly. No lame ass spawncamping panzer whores. SO the modder must be one of those whore.

I'm going to agree with Slayer on this one.. I think that it's way too early to start playing modded servers without giving the 'new' Wolf Dev's a chance to throw out a few more patches to make the game like people have asked. I would just be happy if the MP was like SP as far as graphics (short of the bobbing issues)..

and yes the MP sucks huevos but the SP isn't too bad. I'm running around with my sledge hammer against the Super Soldats...listening to Peter Gabriel... LoL

Hong we all here still agree that even though we're disappointed in the MP out of the gate.. we do feel like it's Wolf.. and are willing to wait for some updates. I wasn't wanting a COD type game.. I'm actually looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 this November but Wolf is still the one that we waited almost 9 friggin years for!

Guinness is around.. posting! Headshot hasn't posted in about 3 months.. I pmed 'em but no reply yet. I hope he didn't work 'em self to death in retirement. Proc.. he's educating people about proctology but he still lurked these forums for a while. Not sure what he's up to at the moment... most likely AFK. Crym is around too.. needed Vent info last Friday and I thought he was on Vent with us but I was mistaken. Victim.. haven't seen him in about 4 months.. maybe 5. I sent an email to him. So far none of our emails have bounced so not sure about the clan guys in AFK at the moment.
