Cracker on the boards..

Believe it or not.. we do have someone that keeps trying an automated bot(?) or in person to crack our board. I've looked 'em up and seen his handy work. So, I'll have to update the board forums with some enhanced protection. This will not affect the 4-12 people that come here weekly at the moment. That means you lurkers that don't post but are welcome as I think some are clan members. Anyway, since he's lost his bragging rights with the login he's used on the web... well see if he comes back.

Do we still need to keep him as a registered user? His website link should not be allowed. We have some younger people in the group.

I raised the authentication required to slow Bots.. so this is a real person that's posting the porn. I took out the cracker/hacker by IP for now but I've been watching his posting time-frames on the sites he'd already hacked. He tried to hit us on a Sunday like some of the other sites. The porn guy here is unlikely a Bot because he would have had to manually fill in all the fields (which he didn't bother as if it were automated he'd have coded it to do so). He's just looking to get traffic (and Google rank) and/or trying to infect PCs when they load his site. Zog be sure to run some checks on that box you used to knock on his site with.
