Drexel: School of Engineering - Major: Software Engineering in IST
I'm not dead set on that just yet.. the off shoring is still a problem for jobs in the US. Yet, I know that the Labor Dept. is projecting database architects, admins and software engineering to be the fastest growth potential for the next 10 - 15 years (even higher than health care). So.. I'm gunning for a public job with mediocre pay with excellent vacation/sick benefits. Dude, I feel your pain in the job market, especially you being a recent grad. I think you'd be better of there rather than here. It's kinda interesting to note that many CA companies are moving to TN. It's the relaxed environmental laws here I think plus tax discount incentives.. probably lower wage costs too.
At the moment, I am just taking the classes that are required for 3 different degrees. I might switch to Computer Science since I already have a bachelors in CS software engineering. I just didn't see the benefit in working my ass off for it this time like I did the first time. I wish I had started this 4 years ago.
Let them hate.. so long as they FEAR!
