I heard right after this discovery, they discovered another panet made out of playdough

well I actually think a lot of this stuff they come up with is hilarious. like they really know a plantet 4,000 light years away has diamonds orbiting around it or the planet itself is made up of it. Hell they cant figure out the problems with our planet but they seem to know alot from planets 40 lifetimes away.lol

yeah I know what your saying about the diamond in the rough.Its nice to dream that may actually be real. But I quit being a dreamer long ago. in my old man years, I more or less refer to myself as a realist.
I understand your statement you made about scientists making,hmmm lets see, "educated guesses" I suppose you could say based on the info they may have about the makeup or composition of the orbit/planet. But what are you basing the diamond plant/diamond orbit on,WHat other diamond planet do we have to or know for sure exists to compare this 4000 light years away planet too. ANd dont say earth, yes we have diamonds, but were by no means a diamond planet or in anyway compared to what there talking about.ahhh , I should just ignore these posts and let you guys dream.lol. Zog I do enjoy the post though. I did enjoy the read,if only to rip it apart. and i really do enjoy the solor system and planets etc. I too hope one day ein, we land a man on mars.but with our economy, it wont be anytime soon.lol

Naw i know what you mean Lordy, the way they make it sound or the way one might initially think about it is that its like a huge diamond swirling around. Beats reading about the economy either way imo.

We're all on the same page guys. Better mark it in your calendars. Slayer, I've always said I was a realist. That's my friggin LINE!! I noticed a guy at work using that word a week ago and had to point out that although we've discussed/argued many points about socialists/communists/capitalists etc.. I've always been a realist. It's just funny that you identify yourself that way to. I know we don't agree on several fine points.. but the big picture is we're all in a pickel and I just don't see us getting out any time soon. So, it's good that we have things like this to change the focus sometimes for one reason or another. Hell, I'd find it amusing if they said they found a gas cloud in space with the consistency of jello. Ah.. to dream a little dream.

IM just curious after seeing the previews for Apollo 18 why is it we haven't gone back to the moon? Surely Theres more to be learned than what we got out of one dang trip, if nothing else wouldn't it be easier to build a base on the moon than it is to have one just floating thru space? Hmmm
