Hubble Telescope Finds Carbon Dioxide On Extrasolar Planet

ScienceDaily (Dec. 9, 2008) — NASA's Hubble Space Telescope has discovered carbon dioxide in the atmosphere of a planet orbiting another star. This breakthrough is an important step toward finding chemical biotracers of extraterrestrial life. (link below for more information)

Hopefully Hubble will last until they launch the next telescope out into space in a few years to replace it. Its still producing some pretty amazing pictures and information about whats around us.
