Demo should be out in less than 2 months if they plan to release one. I've found a game hosting service and a Ventrilo server. Now I have to consider home/school/job and then try to work in a few changes before the forums have another attempt by a cracker to crash 'em.

Humm.. well the install shouldn't be difficult.. the load up of the other things might be the issue. I've always been able to copy over my Wolf folder.. I shouldn't have to install it in Vista. At least I hope not! I will try that.. but I still have a ton of reading/work to get done.

either Penguins depot or ecgn. There is a clan based total beach server. I saw 12 on it for quite some time but I didnt have my game set up yet. By the time I did and came back, it was empty. I bet they wouldnt mind us joining them.

Be very amazed... there used to be 1200 or so servers during the demo days.. of course that pales in comparison to the 20k+ we've seen for COD4. In fairness, Wolf and UT WERE the first primary FPS (sure you had doom frags but not as organized as Wolf/UT) so there were not as many players/servers back then. However, you could also look at how many servers there were for ET.. so that was the influence of Wolf in general I guess.

ugg i got oan ecgn for a few minutes and totally got my ass kicked, i need to get a little practice in before this week end lol.

I think I was shooting .65 on average.. not so bad if I'd done something along the line of running the docs 15 times.. that didn't happen. So.. not so happy. I know that the headshot thingy is different on ECG somehow.. well it seems different. I need to aim for the throat/chin area to hit 'em. Also I was shooting all over the place.. trying to make 'em dance I think. I did ok as a medic though...

One thing I don't much like for ECG.. you don't have many opportunities to take on 1v1 or 1v2.. it's more like 1v3-1v5.. even if you do get a 1v2.. as you are about dead more show up to rez the ones you killed and finish you off. So.. you basically have to run in wolf packs sorta.
