New forum update.

Well, where to start. We lost our records.. not sure if it was my fault or not. Most likely I'll take the blame for part of it. Unfortunately, the other I think is the host not allowing mySQL conversion time. It takes a while to get the older records (roughly we had around 15k) and the host must not have let the script run beyond 4000.

Anyway, with this new board at least I was able to get the skeleton outline imported before the script was cut off. I think the reason why the posts that did make it in "guest" were screwed up by me when I deleted some of the modifications I made to combat the bots. I think this next go around I will not hard code changes to the tables and only stick to modifiying the forum code. That way when update 4.0 comes out.. we'll not have to go through this again.

Anyway.. some of the customizations are kinda sparse for 3.0 at the moment. I have some stuff in the works and I hope all of you are able to find your way here.

BTW, it looks like Beer's Ventrillo server is out. I'll look into buying a year's lease on a Vent server soon.

That's cool Zog. We'll wait to hear from him before I pick up a Vent server then. I will collect everyone's email (clan members) from the older host and see what we've got going from there.
